A MOMENT TO REFLECT – REFLECTIONS 3D

REFLECTIONS 3D

I spent more than four years designing “REFLECTIONS”, my tribute to those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. As someone who spent much of my youth in and around New York City, I was deeply affected by the events, and I wanted to create something that, allegorically, sent their souls home.

In “REFLECTIONS 3D”, tragedy is expressed with the same grace and color used for more lighthearted pieces.

After September 11th, 2001, I set out to create a piece in memory of the attack on the Twin Towers that shook America to its core.

In “REFLECTIONS 3D”,  I find a way to respectfully mourn with hope and beauty. This moving sculpture contains exactly 2,977 butterflies, each butterfly representing a life lost.

I invite you to see my full 3D Wall Sculpture Collection on my site, or at Eden Gallery online.
